With a combined 11 five-star commitments before the early signing period even began, Georgia, Alabama and Texas A&M were in a for the top of the heap when it comes to the Class of 2022. The Bulldogs opened the early National Signing Day for this cycle in the No. 1 spot on the 247Sports Composite team rankings but were overtaken by the Aggies late Wednesday afternoon. Things can and will continue to change not only through the end of the week but through February 2022.
The early signing period will continue through Friday with all three teams continuing to jockey for position in terms of how they will place among the top three. Ohio State is firmly entrenched in the No. 4 spot with Texas and Penn State continuing to battle to round out the top five.
